Safe Space

A voice and yoga workshop for connecting body, mind, spirit & voice.

November 17 · 5–7 PM
The Alma Sanctuary · Pelzer, SC
$39 per person · Limited to 20 women

Hosted by Liz McLaughlin of The Alma Sanctuary and Erica Doran of Made for the Stage.

Come as you are. Your voice is welcome here.

Join us for an evening of yoga, meditation, sound, and gentle vocal exploration as we surround ourselves with community, warmth, and light—and lovingly reclaim our precious voices.

Together, we’ll connect with our bodies through gentle movement, settle into guided meditation, receive a restful sound bath, and explore the experience of creating sound together. From a quiet hum to a fuller collective expression, there is room to discover what your voice feels like when you give it care and permission.

Our voices carry the power to create, nourish, comfort, and connect. They deserve tenderness—and thoughtful attention to how we use them. Throughout the evening, we’ll explore both what we’re ready to express and what we hope to bring into the world through our words.

We’ll close our guided experience with reflection, a releasing fire ceremony, and a shared song around the fire. Afterward, linger over warm tea, sweets, and unhurried conversation.

Your evening includes

-Welcome and guided meditation

-Breath and vibration exploration through touch, humming, and OM

-Gentle yoga flow

-Restorative sound bath

-Guided vocal exploration with Erica, building toward a collective crescendo at your own pace

-Journaling and a written note of release

-Releasing fire ceremony and collective singing, weather permitting

-Tea, sweets, and community connection afterward

No singing or yoga experience required.

Every practice is an invitation. You’re welcome to sing, hum, listen, or rest. There’s no requirement to sing alone or share your reflections aloud—simply an opportunity to explore your voice and meet yourself with love.
