The Experience
RITUAL | An Intentional Tea Ceremony
Your evening begins with a choice.
At our ritual tea bar, you'll discover four thoughtfully curated herbal blends, each paired with an intention:
GROUND — Return to yourself.
RELEASE — Make space for what comes next.
RESTORE — Reconnect with what nourishes you.
CALL IN — Welcome possibility.
Choose the ritual that speaks to you, prepare your tea, and settle into the sanctuary.
Through gentle grounding and mindful reflection, we'll explore the intention you've chosen and carry it with us into the evening.
INTUITION | Exploring the Art of Tarot
Guided by astrologer and tarot reader Malorie, we'll explore tarot as a practice of symbolism, self-inquiry, and intuitive reflection.
Through an introduction to the cards, a guided collective experience, and interactive exploration in pairs or small groups, you'll be invited to discover the imagery, meanings, and personal reflections that emerge.
Rather than searching for answers outside ourselves, we'll approach the cards with curiosity, using them to open conversations, explore perspectives, and deepen our relationship with our own intuition.
Your chosen tea intention will become a thread throughout this experience, offering a personal point of reflection as you explore the cards.
Whether you're familiar with tarot or encountering it for the first time, this is a space to learn, explore, and connect without expectation.
INTEGRATION | Reflection & Restorative Sound
As the evening unfolds, we'll move from exploration into stillness.
Through gentle journaling and guided reflection, you'll have an opportunity to consider what resonated with you and what you might carry forward.
Then, settle into the warmth of your blankets for a restorative sound bath, allowing the mind to quiet and the experience to settle.
We'll close by returning to the intention you chose at the beginning of the evening, creating space for gratitude, connection, and whatever meaning you've discovered along the way.
Meet Your Guides
Liz | Founder, The Alma Sanctuary
Liz McLaughlin is the founder of The Alma Sanctuary, where she creates intentional experiences rooted in conscious living, connection, and holistic wellness. Through yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound healing, and ritual, she blends ancient wisdom with modern approaches to nervous system care. Her philosophy is simple: wellness isn't about becoming someone new, but learning to be more present, embodied, and connected to the life we're already living.

Malorie | Astrologer & Tarot Reader
Malorie Burden is the founder of Bad Luck Burden, where she helps people reconnect with their intuition, embrace life's challenges as opportunities for growth, and move toward greater self-expression. Through tarot, astrology, and coaching, she creates space for clarity, self-trust, and intentional action. Malorie believes the answers we seek are often already within us, and uses symbolism and intuitive practices to help bring them into focus.

Together, Liz and Malorie invite you into an evening that honors both the art of intuitive exploration and the grounding beauty of shared ritual.
A Few Things to Know
Do I need experience with tarot?
Not at all. This experience is designed to welcome both curious beginners and those already familiar with tarot.
Will I receive a personal tarot reading?
The evening centers on guided tarot exploration, collective reflection, and interactive activities in pairs or small groups rather than traditional private readings.
What should I bring?
Simply yourself, an open mind, and comfortable clothing. Journaling materials, tarot decks, blankets, and pillows will be provided.
Where will we gather?
Our experience takes place beneath the covered, open-air pavilion at The Alma Sanctuary. November evenings can be chilly, so we encourage cozy layers and warm socks. Blankets and heaters will be available, with a fire planned as conditions permit.
Is this gathering open to everyone?
Absolutely. All are welcome, regardless of background, beliefs, or experience.
What about dietary needs or allergies?
Our herbal tea offerings will be clearly labeled with ingredients. Please share any relevant allergies or dietary considerations before attending.
